Tatra is one of the most beautiful Polish regions. No wonder that every year come to the area a lot of tourists. Holiday in the Tatras is not only a way to relax in nature, but also an opportunity for increased physical activity, which is certainly a good way to spend time, especially for active people. If you allow us to do this condition should climb also Kasprowy and Giewont and also see Chochołowska Valley and Koscieliska.

Mountaineering in the Tatras

What to see in the Tatras? Notable are primarily the highest elevations. But keep in mind that mountaineering requires proper preparation, both in terms of physical fitness, and proper dress. It should pick up in the higher parts of the mountains especially during the summer, because then the weather conditions are great for hiking. In the winter, even during autumn can be quite risky. After a few days of training and visiting places like Kościeliska Valley or Chochołowska to choose the higher parts of the mountains, and get, for example, Giewont and Kasprowy.

The 13th century Main Market Square (Rynek) prominently displays the Old Town Hall. In the north-west corner of the market square there is the St. Elisabeth's Church (Bazylika Św. Elżbiety) with its 91,46 m tower, which has an observation deck (75 m). North of the church are the Shambles with Monument of Remembrance of Animals for Slaughter (pl). Salt Square (now a flower market) is located at the south-western corner of the market square. Close to the square, between Szewska and Łaciarska streets, there is the St. Mary Magdalene Church (Kościół Św. Marii Magdaleny) established in the 13th century.
